Predicted on May 24, 2003:

"Consider this, if you continue in your ways, you will find yourselves facing the terrible wrath of God in the next five years, with no hope of any mercy."
It's a beautiful planet . . .

No deity required!

If Christian Forums still has it online (please, please, leave it up!), the prediction (prophecy? curse? word of knowledge?) is here on the Christian Forums message board.

Here is the meat of the prediction:

Now, I would strongly suggest that all of you wicked and hateful sinners (that’s right, sinners deliberately flaunting yourselves against God and His ways!) Consider this, if you continue in your ways, you will find yourselves facing the terrible wrath of God in the next five years, with no hope of any mercy.

The emphasis is in the original. The poster uses the boardname "look". I want to thank "look" for being one of the very few religionists who actually presents skeptics with something that is testable. I'll ask him to clarify what exactly is meant by "the terrible wrath of God", or at least a rough idea of how I can know whether or not I face to face with it. If "look" is not forthcoming on that, I'll just assume that it means that I'll die or be afflicted with a horrible, debilitating and/or disfiguring disease or accident.

So, I'm shamelessly flaunting myself against this person's imaginary God and that God's ways, especially starting now on May 25, 2003, and I'll come back to this page in May of 2008 and tell you all about my experience of God's terrible wrath. Perhaps I'll do annual updates, since the horror could begin any time within the next five years. ;)

What provoked this person into issuing this divine threat? He posted a link to a page that supposedly shows someone whom God has "saved" from homosexuality. Some of us found the whole thing rather unbelievable and more than a little funny. Dear "look" doesn't seem to have appreciated that...
